Technology Learning Coordinators at the sites handle a variety of tasks. Their primary mission is site staff development in technology to support improved academic achievement. Each school develops a short professional development plan for its teachers. They revise it annually so that it reflecst what teachers need in the classroom. They also coordinate "helpdesk" requests at the site. In other words, they are the first point of contact when a teacher needs a computer or printer fixed, but they do not actually do the repair. we have an I.T. Department for that. Although most tech coordinators manage thier schoool websites, there may be a different individual who manage it. Finally tech coordinators work with teachers in completing the CTAP2 survey.
